MESA Program

The Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program at Cypress College is dedicated to supporting students who are majoring in math, engineering, science, or related fields and who are historically underrepresented in these areas.

MESA provides a supportive learning community, academic enrichment, and professional development opportunities to help students successfully transfer to four-year universities and thrive in STEM careers.

Students in MESA build strong connections with peers, faculty, and industry professionals while gaining the tools and confidence they need to excel.

Services include:

  • Guaranteed seating in SEM courses

  • Tutoring and workshops

  • Transfer assistance with MESA counselor

  • MESA/STEM study center

  • MESA excursions and campus visits
