Student Equity and Achievement Program

The Student Equity and Achievement (SEA) Program was established through the enactment of California Education Code 78222. SEA implements activities and services to eliminate achievement gaps and support educational access and achievement for disproportionately impacted students. The 2022-2025 SEA Plan was developed to increase equitable student success at Cypress College by coordinating campus-wide efforts to develop effective onboarding and support mechanisms along students' pathways toward their educational goals by evaluating the following metrics:

· Successful Enrollment

· Completed Transfer-Level English and Math

· Persistence: First Primary Term to Secondary Term

· Transfer to a Four-Year Institution

· Completion of Certificates and Degrees
