The Product Development for the Apparel Industries Certificate is designed to prepare students to work in the fashion design or merchandising fields developing apparel designs and/or lines of apparel for specific target customers. Outcome 1: Plan and execute the assembly of a garment, using various industrial machines within a prescribed amount of time and complete the necessary requirements for certification for entry-level employment.
