The Professional Photography Certificate is designed to prepare students for employment into a myriad of photographic industries. Course work provides a strong foundation in photography and offers both hands on training and experience. This certificate is designed to prepare the student for entry-level occupational positions into a variety of photographic industries such as studios, service bureaus, the wedding industry, public relations, and special events. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. This certificate requires a total of 18 units.

Outcome 1: Demonstrate competence in operating medium and large digital format cameras and will be able to produce, analyze, and interpret digital files for accurate color reproduction and resolutions for digital printing systems for professional and commercial applications.
Outcome 2: Demonstrate the ability to create original and professional quality images using a variety of lighting equipment that will produce analyzed effects and communicate specific perspectives of subjects or locations for professional and commercial applications.
