CalWORKs

The California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program is designed to help students on public assistance get the support to begin building the foundations of self-sufficiency and access to vital services such as work-study, job placement, childcare, curriculum development, skill training and more.  CalWORKs students are assigned a CalWORKs Counselor who provides the guidance and support needed to meet both their academic goals and the requirements mandated by their county social worker.
