Physical Education Associate in Arts Degree
PROGRAM CODE: 2A17369
Curriculum leads to the Physical Education Associate in Arts Degree. Specifically, it is designed for student who will transfer to a four-year institution, obtaining a bachelor’s degree through a California State University program. Course and degree requirements vary at respective universities. It is important to consult with a Fullerton College Counselor and respective university transfer representatives to confer program requirements and transferable work. The Program requires a total of 18-20 units of which 16-17 units are in required courses. An additional 2-3 units must be chosen from the restricted units listed below.

Program Level Student Learning Outcomes
Outcome 1: Identify concepts and theories of sport exercise psychology that can be applied, in coaching and teaching.
Outcome 2: Identify and apply four related fields of Physical Education: Fitness/Wellness, Teaching/Coaching, Sport Careers, Sport/Exercise.
Outcome 3: Identify athletic injuries and demonstrate a physical remedy for each.
