Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)

The CARE program at Cypress College provides enhanced support services for eligible CalWORKs students who are single parents receiving public assistance to support their success. CARE helps students overcome barriers by offering specialized resources and encouragement designed to promote academic success.

Our dedicated staff works closely with students to provide personalized counseling and practical assistance so they can thrive both in school and at home.

Services include:

  • Individualized academic counseling

  • Childcare support coordination

  • Assistance with transportation and school supplies

  • Foodsupport (grocery cards)

  • Workshops and seminars

  • Connection to campus and community resources

  • Transportation assistance (fuel cards)
