Stage and Screen Combat Level 2 Certificate

The Stage and Screen Combat Level 2 Certificate builds upon the Level 1 Certificate and is designed for students who seek additional weapon training, advanced performance skills in classical theatre and on-camera acting/stunts as well as business and marketing techniques required by industry professionals to find and secure employment. This certificate requires completion of the Level 1 Certificate (17.5-25 units) plus additional advanced courses for Level 2 (16-18 units), for a total of 33.5-43 units. At least one half of the units toward the certificate must be completed at Fullerton College with a grade of C or better in each course taken.

Program Level Student Learning Outcomes
Outcome 1: Organize, evaluate, and compose materials for the application and audition process in theatre, film, and television.
Outcome 2: Choose/create, rehearse, and perform choreography that reflects character interpretation from multiple perspectives for the purpose of culturally responsive storytelling in live and recorded performances.
Outcome 3: Analyze, apply, and perform stylistic approaches to choreographed violence for the purpose of character interpretation and culturally responsive storytelling through a variety of performance disciplines.
