The Costume and Makeup Design Certificate is designed to prepare the student for occupational competency in the field of costume/makeup design for theatre. To earn a certificate, the required courses as listed with a grade of C or better. At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 15-17 units

Program Student Learning Outcomes:
OUTCOME 1: Upon completion of this certificate students should be able to demonstrate competency in the artistic and technical skills required of a costume or makeup designer in theatre.
OUTCOME 2: Upon completion of this certificate students should be able to demonstrate competency in current gear and equipment related to the field of costume and makeup design.
