The Technical Theatre Certificate is designed to prepare the student for occupational competency as a theatrical technician or stagehand. To earn a certificate, the required courses as listed with a grade of C or better. At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 22-23 units.

Program Student Learning Outcomes:
OUTCOME 1: Upon completion of this technical certificate, students should be able to demonstrate entry-level knowledge in the of field of technical theatre.
OUTCOME 2: Upon completion of this technical certificate, students should be able to operate or program current gear or software applicable to the jobs of a theatrical technician, stagehand, electrician, scenic painter or other related career path.
