Auto Collision 3: Structural Certificate

The Auto Collision 3: Structural Certificate continues the development of skills for the auto collision repair industry, with an emphasis on structural alignment. Students will develop expertise in tools and techniques in paint and refinishing. To earn a certificate students must complete all major course requirements with a grade of C or better. At least 50% of the program must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 16 units.

Program Student Learning Outcomes:
OUTCOME 1: Develop entry-level skills and knowledge for employment in the automotive industry, i.e. an auto body repair facility, and the insurance business.
OUTCOME 2: Acquire increasingly technical skills and knowledge to work safely in the lab/shop environment.
OUTCOME 3: Demonstrate the ability to become part of the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) and the Automotive Detailers Association (ADA).
